Submissions to Flicker are ongoing and free.

Flicker NYC submission guidelines:

1. Films submitted to Flicker must a) have orginated on Super 8 or Regular 8mm film and b) be under 18 minutes. Please note that while we used to also show 16mm films we now only accept films shot on 8mm.

2. Films can be submitted on film, DVD or a web link. DVD submissions must be clearly labeled with the film's title, director's name, running time, and contact phone / email.

3. **IMPORTANT** Do NOT require signature for delivery-- this will most likely end up with the package being returned. For international submissions, label the outside of the package clearly with words "For Cultural Purposes Only / Non-Commercial"

4. If you are accepted to screen at a Flicker NYC show, we will notify you by email a few weeks in advance of the show.

5. We do not send out rejections. We often will hold onto a film in a 'slush pile' for a while until we find a good program to include it in. Feel free to email and inquire on the status of a submission or to make sure it was received.

6. At the show, we can project on Super 8 print, Regular 8mm print, or an 8mm film transferred to DVD or mini-DV.
